How to configure Review Carousel?

Welcome to our user guide! We're here to help you set up and use the Air Reviews app effectively. This guide will walk you through the process of displaying reviews on your storefront, setting up a Review Carousel, and choosing its position for different themes. Let's get started!

Displaying Reviews

1. To start, please navigate to the Air Reviews app and select 'Display reviews' from the left-hand menu.

2. Next, choose 'Setup' under 'Review Carousel'.

   

3. Here, you can:

   • Enable the Review Carousel to display it on your storefront.
   • Preview your settings to see how they will appear on Desktop/Mobile.
   • Enter the content you want to display in the 'Heading text' field.
   • Choose the color for your heading text under 'Heading text color'.

   

Choosing the Position of the Review Carousel

For OS 2.0 Theme

1. Under 'Select Position', click on 'theme setting' and choose the page where you want to add the Review Carousel block.

   

   Select the page you want to display the Review carousel on

   

2. Choose the position on your page where you wish to display the feature. Then, add a block by choosing 'apps' and select 'Review Carousel'. You have the option to customize the heading to suit your preferences. Once done, remember to click 'Save' to apply your changes

   

   To update the heading, simply enter your desired text and then click on 'Save' to finalize your edits

   

3. Finally, check how the Review Carousel appears on the page you've set it up on.

   

For Other Themes

For other themes, you can use the Smart Selector to choose the position of the Review Carousel on Product, Home, and Collections pages. The steps are similar to the ones mentioned above for the OS 2.0 theme.

1. Choose 'Action', then enter the URL of the product page where you want the Review Carousel to be displayed. Click 'Start Choosing'.

   

Remember to click 'Start Choosing' after entering the page link for the Review Carousel.

2. On the product page, select the desired location, click 'Insert here', and then click 'OK'.

   

Don't forget to click 'OK' to confirm your choice.

3. The CSS element value will automatically be filled. You can choose the display position as 'Below', 'Above', or 'Inside' under 'Position'.

   

• For the Home page: Use the Smart Selector to choose the location for displaying the Review Carousel on the Home page. Follow similar steps as you would for setting up Product pages.

• For the Collections page: Use the Smart Selector to select the display location for the Review Carousel on the Collections page. Follow similar steps as you would for setting up Product pages.

Using Snippet Code

If you want to display the Review Carousel on any other page, you can use the provided snippet code.

1. First, copy the snippet code.

   

2. Navigate to the 'Theme' page. Under 'Current theme', select 'Actions' and then choose 'Edit code'

   

3. Select the file you wish to edit. Insert the code snippet at your desired location within the file. After making the changes, be sure to click 'Save'.

   

4. Finally, check how it appears on your Storefront.
