How to configure Settings?

This guide will walk you through the general settings of your application. We'll cover two main features: Auto-publish positive reviews and Review rich snippets. Each section will include an image to help you visualize the process. Let's get started!


1. General Settings

Customer eligibility

This is the settings section that allows you to select who can submit a review for a product in your store.

  • Everyone can write reviews: This option enables everyone who visits your store to write a review for the product.

  • Only customers logged in can write reviews: This option allows only customers who have logged into your store to write reviews for the product.

  • Only verified buyers can write reviews: This option allows only customers who have made a purchase to write reviews for the product.

Auto-publish positive reviews

  • Choose the review value to be automatically approved when submitted at the store.

Review rich snippets: Enable the feature to display review ratings on the Search Console.

Trash: Helps customers recover deleted reviews or reviews that were mistakenly deleted.

  • Permanently delete after 15 days: Permanently delete reviews after 15 days from the time they are moved to the Trash.
  • Permanently delete after 30 days: Permanently delete reviews after 30 days from the time they are moved to the Trash.

2. Import reviews

Default settings:

  • Max number of reviews to import: Enter the limit of reviews that can be imported at once.
  • Auto-translate: Choose the language.

AliExpress: Default values: Choose default values when importing reviews from AliExpress.

3. Email

Email Appearance:

  • Email sender address: Enter the sender's email address.
  • Email sender name: Enter the sender's name.
  • Reply to: Enter the email to receive notifications when customers reply.

Set up review reminder email workflow

When pressing the button: Integrate with Avada Marketing Automation > go to the Integration page.

  • Enter AppID.
  • Secret Key.
  • Status: Not connected / Connected.

Press Connect.

Use custom SMTP (Optional)

  • Turn on: Enable SMTP connection.
  • Turn off: Disable SMTP connection.
  • Host
  • Port
  • Authentication: Login / None
  • Username
  • Password

Press Load Settings (Host): Gmail, Gsuite

Press Load Settings (Host): Amazon SES

  • US East
  • US West
  • EU

Press Load Settings (Host): Elastic Email

Press Load Settings (Host): Mailgun

Press Load Settings (Host): Sendgrid

  • When all fields are entered > Press Verify Config
  • Show popup: Send a test email to verify custom SMTP config
  • Enter Send to: Enter the email where you want to receive notifications when * SMTP connection is successful. Press Verify now

Popup notification of the result, check your email for the notification.
